Story
Continuing Tiffs legacy in supporting those living with blood cancer.
In June 2022, Tiff sadly lost her battle with blood cancer. Tiff, devoted herself to supporting those with blood cancer. I want to continue the work she did in growing awareness and raising funds for those living with the disease.
In doing this, I will attempt to run 1 meter for every person living with blood cancer, in the UK. That number is estimated at 250,000 people.
The Run:
250,000m = 250km
Running 250km in 50 hours, by completing a 5km loop every hour, on the hour for 50 hours.
Every 5km loop will begin and end at the Home of Leicester Tigers, Mattioli Woods Welford Road. Starting at 10am Friday 17th March and finishing 12pm Sunday 19th March.
Together, I hope we can create something that shows all those living with blood cancer that we will continue to raise awareness and funds, so that one day, no lives are lost because of illness.
Please feel free to come and support during the challenge, whether you would like to run/walk/cycle or simply come and show your support. We would appreciate it all.
Thank you,
Will
