Story
On the 13th July 2022, we lost our beloved brother to complications caused by Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle bones).
As this year he would be celebrating his 40th birthday, myself, Nick and our two cousins Jack & Stephen (along with anyone else that would like to participate) are going to scale Roseberry topping 40 times in one day in his honour! This will be taking place on Saturday 18th May, starting at sunrise!
We will each cover approx. 14km with 1730m of elevation gain, an average gradient of 25%. This will be nearly 400m taller than the highest mountain in Britain, Ben Nevis.
Our charity of choice is The Brittle Bone Society who have given help, advice and support to both Rob and our family. The work the Society does is invaluable to families and children affected by OI. They are in contact with experts who have specialist knowledge in caring for the OI patient and their family .This makes a difference to the families, knowing there are people they can contact when things are difficult or there is a problem.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Will, Nick, Jack & Stephen
