Story
Hello everyone, thank you very much for supporting my fundraising.
This year I will be running the Berlin Marathon on the 21st September 2025 to raise money for Dementia UK.
Dementia is an umbrella term for a range of progressive disorders affecting the brain, including Alzheimer’s disease. Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia - it's one of the biggest health challenges of our time. Dementia has touched my family and the families of many others around the world.
However, the charity's specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. As experts in the condition, their tailored, life-changing support helps families through the fear and confusion of dementia. From sharing practical tips for caring, to offering compassionate emotional support and helping plan for the future, they are there when people impacted by the condition need them most.
I would like to raise as much money as possible for this exceptional charity and would greatly appreciate any donations, however great or small.
Much love,
Will
