Dougie Mac Sky Dive 2025

Will Heaney is raising money for Douglas Macmillan Hospice

Jumping Out Of A Plane! · 18 October 2025

Take to the skies and defy gravity in aid of your local hospice! Join us on Saturday 18th October at Tilstock Airfield and raise money for Dougie Mac whilst overcoming a fear and taking part in this thrilling challenge.

Story

I am taking part in this, quite frankly, terrifying experience for the Dougie Mac Hospice, along side my Fenns colleague and Sky Sister, Laura Probert.

By throwing ourselves out of a perfectly good plane at 10,000 feet, hopefully we will help to make a real difference to the people who need it most, and those providing care and support for adults, young adults and children with life-limiting conditions around Stoke on Trent and North Staffs.

It would be hard to find somebody in Stoke and the surrounding areas who has not been touched by the work of the Dougie Mac, including myself. They provide vital services such as specialist nursing care, symptom management and emotional support free of charge to over 3,500 local people, as well as much-needed respite for families, allowing them to take a break from the demands of caring for a loved one.

So, please put your hands in your pockets and dig deep. As deep as you can! The form I had to sign to do this made the blood drain from my face, so it's the least you can do! Lets smash that target!

Every donation makes a difference.

Thank you, and big love to you all! x
