Hello and thank you for visiting my JustGiving page. I hope you're here to help Aspire, the Spinal injuries charity, as well as supporting me in my efforts to swim the English Channel as part of a team of 6 in the summer of 2025.

Swimming has become a passion of mine, and thrashing across the English Channel is right up there on my bucket list, so combining this swim with an opportunity to raise funds for an organisation like Aspire can only be a great thing, and with your help I can take the plunge.

Aspire works with people with Spinal Cord Injury to create opportunity, choice and independence. The vision of Aspire is to create a world where people with Spinal Cord Injury have equal opportunities in society.

I hope and wish that no-one ever needs the help of Aspire, however, the facts are that every two hours in the UK someone is paralysed by a spinal cord injury; it can happen to anyone at any time, and no one is prepared for how it will change their life and there is currently no cure. Aspire provides practical help, supporting spinal injured people from injury to independence. Aspire receive no government funding, so every penny you help me raise is vital.
