A warm and safe place to sleep each night is a basic need that many of us, thankfully, take for granted. This winter however far too many people in our towns and cities won’t have this option so on the 9th I’m joining others on Meadow Lane, opposite our 200 Degrees Roast House at the Notts County ground to raise awareness and funds support efforts to help people get off the streets.

My fundraising efforts will be split between CEO Sleepout and our charity partner Switch Up, an organisation in Nottingham that helps support young people who are often vulnerable to the risk of homelessness due to challenging and chaotic situations at home. Their intervention and guidance helps do everything possible to make sure these young people will have opportunities in life and are steered away from a life of crime and make a positive contribution to society.
