Like every other person in their 20s who moves to London, I have decided that now is the time to run a half marathon. So this September, I'll be taking on the 2025 Big Half.

I am running on behalf of Sense, a brilliant charity that supports people who are deaf blind or have complex disabilities. Sense works to ensure that everyone, no matter how they communicate, is understood, connected, and valued. They support children, young people, and adults who face huge barriers in a world built around seeing, hearing, and speaking. Their work helps make sure no one is left isolated or unable to reach their potential.

Sense also provide specialist further education to young people with special educational needs and disabilities across 9 locations in England. Through my work, I've had the privilege of getting to know the brilliant work that specialist colleges like Sense do and the life changing support they provide for young people. Having the chance to raise money on behalf of these colleges and the incredible learners they support is a real honour.
