Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 29 January 2020, our son Otis was born by emergency C-section following reduced movements. He arrived in very poor condition and required immediate breathing support, including intubation. After weeks of tests, we received the devastating news that Otis had Spinal Muscular Atrophy Type 0. Faced with unimaginable decisions, we spent every precious moment loving and caring for our beautiful boy.
On his 30th day, we said our hardest goodbye as Otis peacefully fell asleep in our arms, one last time.
In the final days of Otis’ life, and throughout the days, weeks, months and years since, our family has been supported by the incredible team at EACH. No amount of money could ever express our gratitude for the compassion and care they gave us, but every penny raised will help them continue supporting other children and families when they need it most.
That’s why, on 19 April, I will be running the Norfolk Marathon to raise as much money as I can for this amazing charity.
If you’re able to donate, I would be deeply grateful for your support and I’ll happily accept any running tips along the way too!
Thank you
