Story
I am running the London Marathon 2026 in memory of Ryan, my cousin's husband who tragically passed away in December 2024 at just 27 years old after a courageous battle with a brain tumour.
KEMP Hospice supported Ryan and his family from diagnosis to his final day, making his wish to be at home with his wife Megan and daughter Mia possible. Ryan was first diagnosed in 2017, and made a remarkable recovery. He made the most of the years that followed, creating wonderful memories that his family will cherish forever. Ryan lived life with an infectious positivity, even when his cancer returned in 2024. He will always be remembered for his bravery, humour and determination.
By running in aid of KEMP, I want to honour Ryan's memory and help other families receive the same incredible support. Their care went far beyond the clinical, offering dignity, comfort and precious family time. Every donation will help continue their vital work.
