Story

Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time to stop by this page. As many of you will know, on August 30th of this year, my amazing beautiful wife, Lauren lost her battle with her illness.

During her final months, Lauren received exceptional care and treatment from every member of the St Margaret's community. I want to emphasise my belief that this is such an important facility that has served families, like ours, with care and compassion for over 70 years.

Many people's first thoughts might be that their final days should be spent at home. St Margaret's Hospice allowed Lauren, myself and her family the opportunity to spend quality time together whilst Sister Rita and her team expertly took care of Lauren's medical and practical needs.

For me St Margaret's Hospice is such a special, spiritual environment and I know that Lauren would want other families to benefit from this amazing team that rely on charitable donations to operate.

Myself and four close friends will be running two marathons (which consists of 4 miles, every 4 hours in 48 hours) over two days in December. Please feel free to join us on this challenge and let's raise as much money as possible for St Margaret's Hospice.
