Story
I'm raising money to support UNICEF's Children of Gaza Crisis Appeal.
As a primary school teacher, I see every day how important it is for children to have access to safety, healthcare, and education. This year, I am taking on the challenge of running the Manchester Marathon—my first full marathon—to raise £1,000 to support children in Palestine who urgently need medical aid. A ceasefire began on 19th January 2025 after 15 months of destruction, and despite this there are still innocent Palestinians being murdered. Around 8% homes have been left in a habitable state. Countless personalities, identities, relations have been torn apart simply because they were Palestinian.
Children should never have to suffer due to conflict, and every donation, no matter how small, will help provide lifesaving treatment, essential supplies, and support for young lives caught in crisis. UNICEF continues to deliver life-saving supplies, including medicines and clean water, as well as mental health support.
This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and knowing that each step I take can make a difference keeps me motivated through every mile. If you’re able to contribute, I would be deeply grateful. If you can’t donate, sharing this page would also be a huge help.
Thank you for your support!
