I am raising money for Prostate Cancer UK because in August 2023, my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer.

My Dad had no signs or symptoms and was fortunate to have found out through a check up that he'd asked for from his GP. The scans and tests afterwards found that the cancer was significant enough that Dad has had the prostate removed. My Dad is still being treated and is doing well and we're very lucky, we've still got him. Unfortunately, this isn't the case with far too many families and there still isn't a screening process in place, but, we can help.

Inspired by Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow, I will also be raising money for MNDA (a separate page).

Having completed the Race Across Scotland in 2023 and again in 2024, I've decided to up the stakes this time around. I'm going to take on a greater challenge and I aim to complete the Scottish National Trail. This is an 864km / 537 mile route from Cape Wrath on the North coast down to Kirk Yetholm on the Scottish Borders. Not only do I aim to complete the trail but I'd like to do it in a fastest known time and finish in 7 days!!
