William & Alexis Trek to Everest Base Camp for Royal Trinity Hospice 💙
Story:
On 28th March 2026, William and his 11-year-old daughter Alexis will begin an incredible journey — trekking to Everest Base Camp, one of the world’s most challenging and awe-inspiring adventures.
This trek is about far more than mountains and miles. We are doing this in loving memory of Paul Hayward, to honour his life and to say thank you for the compassion, care, and dignity shown by Royal Trinity Hospice. Paul was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September 2025 and passed away on the 28th of Jan 2026. Paul spent 7 weeks at Royal Trinity hospice and was given around the clock care. During this crucial time his family were allowed to stay 24 hours a day and were treated wonderfully.
Royal Trinity Hospice supports people at the most difficult times in their lives, not only caring for patients but also standing beside families when they need it most. Their work is extraordinary — and they rely heavily on donations to continue providing this vital support.
Taking on Everest Base Camp is a huge physical and mental challenge, especially for Alexis at just 11 years old. Every step will be a reminder of why we’re doing this: to remember Paul, to celebrate his life and to help ensure other families are able to receive the same kindness and care.
William has personally funded the entire cost of this trip and he’s NOT asking for personal donations.
If you’re able to donate — no matter the amount — it would mean the world to us and will make a real difference to Royal Trinity Hospice.
If everybody could like, follow and share, that would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and generosity. 💙
We’ll be carrying Paul with us every step of the way.
