Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK is dedicated to the protection of wildlife and habitats in Kenya. We bring hope to orphaned elephants and rhinos, and secure their future through anti-poaching operations, in-the-field veterinary treatments, community outreach, and more.

Story

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust holds a very special place in my heart. When I was young, my grandparents were living in Kenya, and on a trip to visit them, I had the incredible opportunity to visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Witnessing the care and attention the orphanage provided, is something I will never forget.

My grandmother was a devoted supporter of the Sheldrick Trust, and since her passing, continuing this support feels like a meaningful way to honour her memory and the compassion she lived by.

Every year, baby elephants are left alone after losing their mothers to poaching and habitat destruction. The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescues these vulnerable calves, raising them with patience and dedication until they are strong enough to return to the wild. Many go on to live full lives, raising families of their own — a powerful reminder that conservation truly works.

Beyond caring for orphans, SWT protects wildlife through anti-poaching patrols, aerial surveillance, and mobile veterinary units that save injured animals in the most remote areas.

I aim to rais £5,000 by 14 June 2026 to support the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust UK. Every donation, no matter the size, helps protect these gentle giants. Thank you for being part of this journey and helping to save lives.
