As some of you may know, on the 22nd May 2023, my best friend Billy Zienkowicz passed away from an unexplained illness whilst he was on holiday in Turkey.

In Billy's memory, I am wanting to spread awareness and to raise as much money as I can, in order to thank Child Bereavement UK for the support they have given to the Zienkowicz family, as well as the incredible work they do for all the grieving families across the country.

I am completing this climb with my Mum who is raising money for a charity of her choice. We head out to Tanzania on the 6th February 2025 and will begin our climb in the days after. If all goes to plan, we are due to have completed both the ascent & descent by the 16th February 2025.

A little insight into Child Bereavement UK, they are a charity that help Children and young people (up to age 25), parents and families to rebuild their lives when a child grieves or when a child passes. Child Bereavement UK also provide training to professionals, equipping them to provide the best possible care to bereaved families.
