Our team of dedicated runners will be pushing themselves to the limit on April 26th, 2025, and every step they take will bring us closer to reaching our fundraising goal.

Story

I am running the 2025 London Marathon in memory of my Mum, Dawn, who passed away earlier in 2024. Mum was nothing short of a legend, thankless in all she did, and always full of an infectious loving energy.

Mum was diagnosed with gastric cancer and passed away exactly one month after diagnosis. Her final two weeks were spent at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.

I also want to use this opportunity to raise the profile of the Less Survivable Cancers Taskforce https://lesssurvivablecancers.org.uk. who are doing important work to double five-year survivability.

I am excited that my sister, Harriet, and best mate, Will, are also joining me on the 26 miles! We are going to take part in a number of additional events along the way.

- On the 17th August, Will and I are completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in 12 hours

- On the 13th October, I am running the Manchester Half Marathon

- Much more to come..

Of course we are asking for your support. Please donate what you can or offer your support by sharing this message!

Thank you,

Will
