Every day, freelance journalists risk their lives to get the news we rely on, and we are proud to stand with them by supporting the Rory Peck Trust which is dedicated to protecting and empowering freelance journalists through safety training, crisis support, and mental health resources.

Rory was killed while covering the Russian constitutional crisis in 1993.

My colleagues Mark, Joel and I will be raising money for the trust by taking part in a mini-triathlon on August 9. Every donation helps provide life-saving resources to journalists who often work without institutional backing.
