William’s 100kg Lindley Litter Challenge

Our work helps to eradicate litter, improve local places and to prevent waste in order to create healthier, happier and stronger communities. We rely on donations from individuals to support our campaigns and work in schools and communities. Without your help our work would not be possible.

Story

Hi, I’m William. I’m 10 years old and I live in Lindley, Huddersfield.

As part of my Cub Scouts Silver Chief Scout’s Award, I’ve set myself the challenge of raising at least £100 for Keep Britain Tidy.

To do that, I’m challenging myself to collect 100kg of litter from around Lindley before I move up to Scouts in October.

I want to help make the place where I live cleaner and safer for everyone, while also supporting Keep Britain Tidy so they can continue their work to protect and improve our environment across the UK.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be out litter picking whenever I can, and I’ll be posting regular updates on my progress.

If you’re able to support me with a donation, no matter how big or small, I’d be really grateful. Every donation will help me reach my fundraising target and encourage me to keep going.

Thank you for supporting my challenge!
