As a house, Williams is committed to sponsoring 5 students (1 per year group) at Lesedi, a school providing education for many children from the local area. It costs £300 to sponsor 1 child for a year at the school, providing education, food and welfare.
Many of the children attending Lesedi Primary and Secondary Schools face considerable struggles and challenges in their day to day lives and without sponsorship their education would be extremely limited, with many liable to drop out of school. Sponsorship gives them a unique opportunity to improve their circumstances in life.
Williams U6th will be cycling throughout the day on Friday 7th March, aiming to cycle 100 miles collectively, and to raise the £300 needed to sponsor a chid.
