This is my 10th year taking on this challenge and may be my last as my daughter keeps reminding me I am not Superman at the age of 77 having had a knee and hip replacement and that I need to consider being around and fit enough for many years to come to continue to contribute fully to the voluntary work that I love to do. Charities need our support and each year I split the donations I receive between 3 charities. This is the first year I have used Just Giving and if you donate through here you’ll be donating to The Beatson Cancer Charity but I will also be collecting cash donations for my other 2 charities which will be Golf in Society and Dementia Scotland.

I’d like to say a big thank you to all the people who have supported my efforts by donating over the years and a thank to to those of you who are kind enough to donate this year too. You are the stars as without your support the charities would not have benefitted. Over the years you have donated approximately £18,000 which I am delighted about. I look forward to this years challenge and earning the charities as much as I can in doing so.
