The vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean holds within its depths a myriad of secrets, whispered in the songs of whales and the playful clicks of dolphins. Within the Atlantic Ocean Cetacean Network (AOCN), we embark on a sacred journey.

Story

Hello, I'm Will and I am raising money for Surfers Against Sewage. I chose this charity as I love what they do and have been personally affected by Sewage Pollution for most of my life having lived by one of the most polluted beach in the UK. I wanted to do something to help and make a change in the world. I am setting myself a challenge to fundraise as much as I can for this charity as well as to fund future conservation projects. My challenge is to climb 7 peaks globally which are some of the highest points on our earth. These peaks include Mt. Teide, Mt. Kilimanjaro and Machu Pichu.

I love the ocean and have been surrounded by it all my life and I think by challenging myself I can inspire people to help support these charities and projects in any way shape or form.

I am starting this journey on the 27th April with the first of the mountains, Mt. Teide on Tenerife and will ascend further throughout the next year.

One of my biggest inspirations for what I aspire to do is Sir David Attenborough and the way he thinks about our world and acts about it is truly inspiring to anyone. David Attenborough once said 'Young People - they care. They know that this world that they're going to grow up in, that they're going to spend the rest of their lives in. But, I think it's more idealistic than that. They actually believe that humanity, human species, has no right to destroy and despoil regardless.'

Please consider helping out in any way shape or form whether that's donating or spreading the word everything helps out.

Will :)
