Willows Walk for RTS - Parallel Windsor 1k Challenge

Parallel Windsor 1k Challenge Event · 6 July 2025
Willow’s Walk for RTS
On Sunday 6th July 2025, an amazing team of relatives, friends, supporters, and individuals with Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome (RTS) will be taking on a variety of inclusive challenges at Parallel Windsor—a Festival of Inclusivity with events for all ages, abilities, and health conditions. From SuperSensory experiences to 100m, 10k, and even the Greatest Dancer competition—there’s something for everyone!
Our little warrior Willow (3 years old), who has just mastered walking will be taking part. She’ll be taking on the 1K challenge—starting off on her own little legs and crossing the finish line with the love and support of her family and friends cheering her every step of the way!
Willow received her RTS diagnosis in March 2024 and The RTS family support group has been an immeasurable source of support and guidance for our family.
We’re walking, running, rolling, and dancing to raise funds for the RTS Support Group, a registered charity almost entirely funded by generous donations and fundraising. The charity provides vital support to families affected by Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome, raises awareness among medical professionals, and promotes crucial research into the condition.
Over the next two years, your donations will help:
- Create a family-friendly version of the newly published RTS clinical guidelines
- Update our RTS information booklet (first produced in 2012)
- Make our website more welcoming and accessible for newly diagnosed families
- Continue our popular biannual family conferences, offering expert guidance and building community
- No matter the amount, every donation truly makes a difference.
Thank you so much for your support—and go, Willow, go! 💜
