I ran 1km for every £10 donated.

Isabel Hospice exists to journey alongside people during some of life's most difficult times. Offering expert compassionate care, advice and support those living with progressive, life-limiting illnesses. Our care is free of charge to those who need it, but it is not without cost.

Story

I ran a kilometre for every £10 donated.

In the summer of 2023, my wife Jo was diagnosed with incurable stage 4 bowel cancer. After receiving various medical and surgical interventions for just over a year, Jo very sadly passed away at the end of October. She was amazingly resilient and positive throughout her battle with this horrible disease. She even managed to raise a huge £6000 for Cancer Research UK. Jo is an absolute inspiration to me. She was a truly remarkable, wonderful person who I miss terribly.

While Jo was receiving palliative care at home, she was supported by the superb Isabel Hospice who help people like Jo live well for as long as possible.

I want to take up the fundraising baton and help support this brilliant organisation. I am so grateful for anything you can give.
