Story
I’m running a marathon to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and I’m doing it in a tuxedo for one simple reason: if I’m going to ask you for your hard-earned money, I should at least show up dressed like I’m taking this seriously.
Cancer affects so many of us, whether it’s personally, through someone we love, or someone we’ve watched fight their way through it. It doesn’t just change one life, it changes whole families.
Macmillan is there in the hard moments: offering practical help, guidance, and emotional support when people need it most, so no one has to face cancer alone.
As for the tuxedo… if I’m going to put myself through 26.2 miles, I might as well do it in a way that makes people smile and starts a few conversations. The outfit is bonkers, the cause isn’t.
If you can donate, thank you. Every pound helps Macmillan keep showing up for people when it matters most.
