On Friday 15th May, Dr Wiltus Botha, Dr Lorinda Pietersen and the teams from Cambridge Orthodontics , Bishops Stortford Orthodontics and Pure Orthodontics will be taking on an incredible 44km walk through the beautiful Hertfordshire and Essex countryside to support the wonderful Animal Rescue Charity (ARC) in Bishops Stortford.

ARC is a sanctuary for neglected, abandoned and unwanted animals, providing them with warmth, safety, medical care, and the love they deserve while they wait for their forever homes. Founded in 1991, the charity has helped thousands of animals find new beginnings thanks to the dedication of its team and supporters.

Every step we take is for animals like Luna, a playful young Chihuahua cross; Millie, an energetic and affectionate Springer Spaniel; and Sugar, a gentle giant who loves belly rubs and sunshine. We’re also walking for beautiful cats like Magic and Ronnie, who are searching for a home together, and Kiki and her kitten Riri, hoping for a family who will welcome them both.

These animals have all experienced uncertainty, but ARC gives them a second chance — providing shelter, daily care, exercise, and affection until the right family comes along. Donations of any size make a real difference to their wellbeing and future.
