On September 2nd 2023 we walked from Oxford to Brightwell cum Sotwell (a marathon distance) raising funds to support Windle International's programmes to provide access to education and training for refugees and conflict-affected communities in Eastern Africa. We reflected on the harrowing journeys that African refugees take to escape conflict and climate emergencies and we were delighted to have two African refugees with us on our walk.
