At a time of climate crisis and ecosystem collapse the moorland areas in the southwest of the UK have become one of our most nature depleted environments.

There is now a moment of opportunity to reverse the destruction and restore one of our greatest carbon sequestering habitats.

Several thousand years ago up to 20% of the UK mainland would have been blanketed in the richest ecosystem that our isles have ever grown; Atlantic temperate rainforest.

We are supporting the Thousand Year Trust - the only charity in the UK dedicated to restoring our temperate rainforests.

The mission of the charity is to triple the amount of rainforest growing across the UK over the next 30 years from 330,000 acres to a million acres.
