Our RAF Association branches are coming together to raise funds for the Wings Appeal, helping veterans and serving members of the Royal Air Force and their families.

By supporting the Wings Appeal, you are helping the RAF Association continue its mission by ensuring that those who have given so much on our behalf are able to lead the dignified, fulfilled and independent lives they deserve. September 2025 marks the 85th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Join us for a sponsored ‘Wings Walk’ in Bexhill-on-Sea on Sunday the 21st of September. A 3-mile route will be marked out on the seafront, between the Angling Club and the Beach Garden.

This is an inclusive event for the entire community on flat, even ground. As such, it is suitable for all ages and abilities - everyone's welcome! You can walk or run the route for as long you like.

The walk begins at 12 noon and ends at 3pm, with registration from 11:30am at the RAFA gazebo near the Angling Club (Galley Hill end).

Sign up in person at the Albatross Club or the Bexhill-on-Sea Town Council Hub on Western Road. Entry fee is £5 - you'll receive a sponsorship pack on the spot, and a wristband, certificate and finisher's medal on the day. We'd love to see as many people as possible on the day, so do get involved and spread the word!
