Story
This year I’m taking on one of the scariest challenges of my life – I’ll be strapped to the top of a plane and wingwalking to raise money for Mind, the mental health charity. Please help me hit my target of £2,000 so Mind can be there for more people when they need it most.
1 in 5 UK adults grapples with anxiety or depression annually, yet NHS waits hit 92% of people, leaving too many isolated in silence. Mind changes that: answering 119,000 helpline calls yearly, running 140+ local services, and campaigning for systemic reform so support reaches everyone who needs it. Every £5 funds an hour of vital therapy; £20 powers a crisis lifeline call.
I’ve chosen Mind because I have seen and dealt with firsthand the devastating effects of poor mental health while at work and with my friends.
On August 26th I’ll be pushing my limits while funding what words alone can’t fix. My target: £2,000 by July 1st. Ambitious? Yes. But every donation powers crisis calls, therapy hours, and real hope. Your support makes it possible.
Any donation, big or small, will make a real difference and will mean the world to me. If you can’t donate, a share of this page would be just as amazing.
Thank you so much for your support.
