The Hospice Hikers: Aiming for a peak performance
On Saturday 16th May our team of Wirral Hospice St John’s colleagues, family and friends, will be embarking on a challenge to reach the summit of Snowdon (yr Wyddfa) at sunset.
Our challenging climb will start at 5.30pm with the plan to be ‘on top’ by 9pm where we’ll be hoping to see, what can be, a breathtaking sunset.
We’ll then be descending back down the highest peak in Wales... in the dark! (Headlamps and torches at the ready).
We’re Jo, Vikki, Ryan, Cheryl, Jo, Kerry and Marie from the hospice. We help to deliver our cherished specialist support and care for patients and their loved ones and, alongside Melissa, Cheryl’s sister, and Dot, Marie’s friend, and Bev, Vikki's friend this challenge means so much to us all.
We’re so very grateful for the loyal support and commitment of all of our other hospice supporters so we thought we would ‘have a go’ too.
Any support that you can give us will be very greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks from The Hospice Hikers..
