We are thrilled to be fundraising for Wistow Smart Start Pre-School, a registered charity that supports many families in the Jubilee Hall in Wistow village.

"It takes a village to raise a child"

Every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating environment to enhance the localised world in which they live and explore on a daily basis. We are looking for passionate supporters to help raise funds to buy travelling equipment, such as a kinder bus (pushable six seater buggy) to give our local children safe and faster access to their local area outdoor spaces to create positive and joyful memories in their village.

All funds raised will go 100% to Wistow Smart Start. No expenses or costs will be deducted (except the mandatory Just Giving fee, which I'll make a donation to cover these).

Many may not be aware, but the staff at Wistow Smart Start are doing everything they can to take the children out for walks and exploring their local area to increase their confidence and environmental experiences, but this all has to be done on foot with a couple of the tiny ones in buggies. This limits where they can go, and how often they can go to ensure there are enough staff to walk the children. Having a buggy would mean one member of staff can safely transport six children. Having two buggies would mean two members of staff can safely transport 12 children for a walk or to a place of interest.

With your generous support, we aim to raise £3000 to ensure that the pre-school can buy travelling buggies to provide high-quality learning and wellness trips in our village and care for young children in our community. Your contribution will make a significant impact on the lives of these little explorers, setting them up for a bright future by giving them access to more outdoor and farm experiences.
