Hey!! Thank you so much for coming here and reading this! 🥹
I’ve wanted to set up and take part in a fundraiser for a while, and I think now is a great time to start with my first one! For this, I’ve chosen Cats Protection 🐈⬛
I’ve grown up with cats my whole life, and when I was in the last couple of years of Primary school, I had the privilege of having a cat of my own.
Her name was Bex, named after my favourite football player at the time - David Beckham 😂
She was a black cat, absolutely full of personality. Living with my mum, and grandparents, Bex was the talk of our street - as a house cat, she wasn’t out and about but the neighbours all knew her as the curtain climbing cat who could often be seen hanging from the curtains in our living room 😂
Bex was very particular about people - meaning, she didn’t like many people at all 😂 but those she liked where a chosen few, and though he would often say he didn’t like her, my grandad was definitely one of these chosen few 🥰
Bex passed away peacefully a couple years ago, with her family by her side. She lived a long, and happy life, but her time had finally come.
Having Bex to come home to throughout my childhood and teenage years was something I’ll never forget.
Cats deserve the best, warmest, cosiest and comfiest of homes, full of love and attention - and dreamies! I wish all cats could have a family that loves them as much as we loved Bex, and this is why I have chosen Cats Protection.
Cats Protection help more cats than any other organisation and they want to help millions more. They are a dedicated community of passionate employees, volunteers, supporters and partners, working together to make life better for millions of cats and the people who care for them.
They are the voice of cats in society and they speak up for their protection.
They’re working towards a society where every cat is treated with kindness and respect.
Making a better life for cats, because life is better with cats.
