Story

This year we are fundraising to help build a new world-leading Children's Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH).

We are going to be taking on the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on the 8th of June and we would love your support! The details of the challenge are listed below but we are going a couple steps further, not only are we aiming for a time of less than 10 hours (rather than the standard 12 hours), we are also going to be doing it dressed as Disney princesses to further inspire the children of GOSH. If you do have any spare money to donate this would be greatly appreciated.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24-miles (38.6km) round trip route, and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. That’s five families who are faced with the worst news possible. A child doesn’t have to die from cancer for it to take their life. It can take away their childhood, their opportunities to learn and even to have children of their own one day. That’s why GOSH is building a new, world-leading Children’s Cancer Centre. To give more children the chance to lead happy, healthy lives and to help improve the odds for children with cancer once and for all.

Join us to help build the Children's Cancer Centre at GOSH and save more lives.

Together we can build it. Together we can help beat childhood cancer.
