Lydia May-Porter and Diana Beirl are raising money for Refuge via a female-led comedy night.

women@thewell, an initiative by the Institute of Our Lady of Mercy (IOLM), offers comprehensive support to vulnerable women trapped in cycles of abuse and social exclusion.

Founded by Sister Lynda Dearlove, drawing on a decade of experience in the East-End of London, it addresses issues such as street-based prostitution, homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health challenges.

Identified barriers include fragmented services and a lack of coordination, hindering women from accessing the help they need to break free from cycles of chaos and abuse.
