Story
Three good friends of mine are living with Parkinson's. To mark my "big birthday" (60 this year) and my love of cycling, I've decided to ride the route of the Tour de France from the year I was born - 1966 - fundraising for Parkinson's UK as I go.
It's 4,329km (2,690m) in total over roughly 28 days. I hope my derrière is up to it!
My wife Helen has enabled, empowered and encouraged me to do months of training, and is driving our motorhome the whole route so that I have somewhere to eat, sleep and recover. I can't thank her enough - thank you, Helen X.
My friends and family, thanks so much for your support - it means a lot to me - and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
