Woodchips Walk for Stroud Valleys Project

Deb Coleman is raising money for Stroud Valleys Project

Sponsored walk · 21 June 2025

We aim to protect and enhance our local environment. We do this by working with communities to make our area more sustainable and diverse. We have a programme of special events and regular sessions for staff and volunteers, including tree planting, wildlife walks, and wetland management.

Story

Woodcraft Folk is an international movement for children and young people, open to everyone from birth to adulthood.

Woodcraft Folk offers a place where children can grow in confidence, learn about the world and start to understand how to value our planet and each other. Stroud Woodchips, the youngest of our groups, is setting out to raise some funds for the wonderful Stroud Valleys Project. They will be walking laps of the lake in Stratford park so if you can sponsor their little legs that would be so appreciated!

The walk will be on Saturday the 21st of June at 10.30am and the more we can raise for SVP the better. We hope to support them in continuing to deliver brilliant sessions for children and adults and getting our communities involved in protecting and understanding the beautiful landscape and wildlife in our locality (and beyond). Every penny counts!

Thank you.

This walk is being organised by Martha Sheppard.
