This year, I’m joining a fantastic team from Woodland Hospital to take on the challenge of hiking Scafell Pike — England’s highest peak — in support of Mental Health Awareness Week. It’s a climb that represents something bigger than the mountain itself: the daily uphill battles so many people face with their mental health, often quietly and without the support they deserve.

We’re raising money for The Green Patch in Kettering, a brilliant community project that provides a safe, nurturing space for people of all ages and backgrounds. Their work helps individuals build confidence, find connection, and experience the wellbeing benefits of nature — something that feels more important now than ever. Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports their mission to improve mental health and strengthen community resilience.

Taking on Scafell Pike will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced by those struggling in silence.
