100 MILES!! 👀
On 12th September, I’ll be taking on a 100-mile run — the Robin Hood 100.
It starts near Retford and then heads into Clumber Park for two 40-mile loops before bringing me back to the finish… which sounds absolutely mental just typing it! 😂
Why?
A lot of people have asked me this 😂
And honestly… because it scares me.
When I was looking for an event to do this year, nothing really tickled my fancy until I came across this. It’s an event where I genuinely don’t know if I can finish.
And I quite like that.
My training has been very much “Terry style” — aka winging it. 😂
All the 100-mile training plans I looked at involved more time than I realistically have, so I’ve decided to do it my way and hope for the best! 🤣
There will probably be some highs, some very low lows, and at some point I’m sure I’ll be questioning every life decision that led me to this point!
If you’d like to support me, I’ve set up a JustGiving page, with all money raised going to Sheffield Children’s Hospital Snowflake Appeal.
Let’s see if we can get another snowflake on the side of the hospital! ❄️❤️
Wish me luck… I think I’m going to need it!
