Story

Lemurs are the charismatic, noisy, and diverse primates native to Madagascar. They are vital for healthy ecosystems, yet their populations are on the decline.

Lemurs are the most endangered group of mammals on Earth, with up to 98% of species facing a serious risk of extinction. This is often due to severe habitat loss, climate change, and hunting or trapping.

Lemurs are some of the largest seed dispersers and pollinators on the planet, and they need our help. That's why we are proud to continue supporting the team at the Ampasy research base in Madagascar.

The team of local conservationists and wildlife rangers have already helped to observe lemur behaviours in the wild so that we better understand them, reforest much of the surrounding area, and develop a site for ecotourism.

Your contribution helps to fund the purchasing of much needed equipment, such as waterproof coats and torches, which is vital for working in the rainforest. Your donation can go a long way to bettering the conservation effort!

Thank you very much.
