Story
We are raising money through WorldFlight 2026 for Macmillan Cancer Support, a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.
In 2024, I lost my dad to cancer. Losing him left a space in my life that can never truly be filled. There are so many moments when I wish I could pick up the phone, hear his voice, share something with him or simply have him here with us again.
I am also doing this in memory of my best friend, Kevin Wemyss. Kevin wasn't just a friend to me – he was like a brother. He was someone I could count on, laugh with and share life with, and I miss him more than I can put into words.
WorldFlight has always been something special to me, but this year it means so much more. Every mile we fly, every hour we spend in the simulator and every donation we receive will be in memory of two people I loved deeply and wish were still here.
Cancer changes the lives of not only those diagnosed, but everyone who loves them. By supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, I hope we can help make that journey a little less frightening and lonely for other people and their families.
For me, this isn't just about raising money. It's about remembering my dad and Kevin, celebrating the lives they lived, and turning the pain of missing them into something that can help someone else.
Dad and Kevin, this WorldFlight is for you. I miss you both more than words can ever say.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who donates, shares our fundraiser or supports us during WorldFlight 2026. It truly means more to me than you know.
