Worthing Excelsior are cycling the length of Britain in just 6 hours, in support of The Brain Tumour Charity

Worthing Excelsior CC is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

Brain tumours are one of those feared conditions that can afflict anyone, at any time. It has cast it's shadow on Worthing Excelsior Cycling Club by impacting the life and family of Rob, a life-long member who has enjoyed cycling and good health over many years.

Rob is fighting his diagnosis with the help of new treatments pioneered by The Brain Tumour Charity, and is now on his third cycle of treatment.

On 14th June, Worthing Excelsior club members are raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity by cycling the length of Britain in just 6 hours - taking on the distance of Lands End to John O'Groats - but completing the distance on the Goodwood race circuit near Chichester.

Club members of all abilities will hit the track and build the miles up, working together to make the miles easier. Your support will help us dig deeper, and go that extra mile..... !!!
