In memory of a much loved daughter, sister and granddaughter - Wren Marlowe Oakley, we are walking 10k and raising funds for the Benson Suite and Maternity Ward at Salisbury District Hospital.

"You were carried for a moment, but you are loved for a lifetime."

The Stars Appeal Benson Suite provides a dedicated, private space for local families who sadly experience the death of their baby. In 2021, we were one of those families, when we lost one of our twin daughters. We couldn't thank the Stars Appeal, specialist midwives, consultants and everyone involved in creating this much needed and caring space for us and other families like ours.

It is the type of place you never hope you have to visit, but if you do find yourself there, you will know what a special place it is, and what an invaluable service it provides to families like ours. Thank you to the late Sir Christopher Benson (2024) and Lady Benson (2022) for not only gifting the funds to build the Benson Suite in 2013 but being huge supporters of the Stars appeal for many years so the hospital could fund bereavement training for their midwives.

In addition to donating £2.00 from every treatment booked with Philippa throughout June, we would like to thank those of you would would also like to donate directly to our fundraiser.
