Story

Spencer McLeod, Gary Todd, Andrew Murphy & Ady Haslam are organising a Coast & Castles charity cycle ride this summer in memory of our colleague and friend Graham Reeves who passed away last March. We are seeking support and participants for GASPED, a Wakefield-based charity that provides practical and emotional support to individuals and families affected by suicide and mental health crisis.

This is a team effort, and there are several ways you can get involved.

🚴 The Ride – Overview

Route: Coast & Castles – approx. 200 miles

• Dates: 16th - 19th July 2026

• Day 1: Tynemouth → Fenwick (~80 miles)

• Day 2: Fenwick → Galashiels (~70 miles)

• Day 3: Galashiels → Edinburgh (~50 miles)

• Day 4: Return to base/home

• Support: Support vehicle(s) with crew cabs

💙 Why We’re Doing This

Suicide impacts far more people than we often realise — colleagues, friends and families.

This ride is about:

• Remembering someone we worked with

• Raising awareness around mental health

• Raising £3,000 to support the work Gasped does locally

💷 Sponsorship & Fundraising

Our £3,000 target will be made up of:

• Internal sponsorship

• External sponsorship (clients, suppliers, local businesses)

• Company and personal donations
