In January I signed up for the Westonbirt 10K, a race under the trees at Westonbirt Arboretum, despite never having run more than 4K in one go. Three months of training later, I'm feeling confident that I'll just about be able to get to the finish line - ideally with your support.

You might not know that I was in a wheelchair, on crutches and in hospitals for years as a kid with various foot, ankle and leg issues, and I broke my foot in 2024, so even doing this distance would be huge for me.

My neighbour's cat Dian Dian has been a brilliant training and recovery buddy, so I thought I'd try to raise some money for a great cats charity: cats.org.uk
