Team members from WSP's Shrewsbury office are taking part in this year's Shrewsbury Half Marathon and Metric Half Marathon to raise money and awareness for foodbank PLUS.

We also ran last year and are hoping to have a bigger team with more visibility this year. The foodbank provides a range of services for people in need in Shrewsbury.

A young mum with two small children, left an abusive relationship, found herself homeless. Offered a temporary home 35 miles away from her son's school she decided to move into an overcrowded house with family. Through our holistic support we were able to support her with food, regular telephone calls and mentoring. Eventually she was given a home locally. We offered our New Home Starter pack, food and household items, furniture and that all important ongoing holistic support to ensure her family enjoy their new, secure home with confidence.
