The Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) are the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. The challenge is to climb each of these three peaks – one after the other! Raising Vital Funds & Awareness for those in our community ❤️

Story

🎯 Our goal, in tandem with One YMCA, is to reduce street homelessness and help people make a better future.

Watford Town Centre BID is a long-established member of the Community Safety Partnership - a multi-agency organisation dedicated to preventing anti-social behaviour, crime and disorder in Watford.

Kara and Glen have chosen to fundraise for an associate Community Safety Partnership member: One YMCA. The outstanding charity exists to change and save lives of residents with complex support needs within the local area.

People become homeless for a host of reasons, and their specialist staff work with each resident to tackle issues and barriers preventing them from moving forwards. The One YMCA team signposts to local services like GPs, community mental health teams and CGL (Change Grow Live). Charter Hostel offers a warm, safe environment to stay, offering 150 supported beds and 22 bed spaces for MCISS – the medium complex intensive support scheme.

🏔️🥾🚶 All donations towards our Three Peaks Challenge will have a huge impact on lives, livelihoods and mental wellbeing whilst supporting the great work of the Community Safety Partnership. We hope you can support Watford Town Centre BID in conquering this impressive feat for an important cause!
