Dad and Mum cared, with professionals, for Stephen throughout his life. In latter years Dad cared for Mum, and we had the privilege of caring for her in her last weeks. We had the resources and energy to do it for a short time with help from others. We recognise that many do not have such support or resources and understand the impact it has on families.

Derbyshire Carers seeks to support families and careers. We would like to support them in their work and recognise the immensely important role paid and unpaid carers play in our society.
