We’re thrilled to announce that Cookham Rise School will be diving into the Maidenhead Lions’ 41st Annual Swimathon on 11th January 2026!

From our tiniest swimmers in Reception to our confident competitors in Year Six, pupils across the school are gearing up for this fun-filled, feel-good community event. It’s one of the highlights of our year -and all for a fantastic cause!

The Maidenhead Lions, part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest charitable service organisation, work tirelessly to support individuals and families in need across Maidenhead. Their fundraising helps local charities, community groups, and even international disaster relief efforts.

The Swimathon is one of their biggest fundraising events of the year, supporting; The Lions Club Charity Fund, and Over 30 local charities, PTAs, and youth groups through team sponsorships!

With up to 120 teams taking part, it’s an incredible community effort - and we’re proud to be part of it. 🌟
