Story
This Ramadan, Idris is proud to take part in The Ramadan Kids Challenge in support of the Isleworth Deen Centre (IDC).
Established in 2011, Isleworth Deen Centre has been serving the local community by providing Islamic services and prayer facilities. Alhamdulillah, the centre has now expanded its services and continues to grow with a vision to offer holistic, culturally sensitive support rooted in Islamic values and heritage. Its aim is not only to provide a place of worship, but to improve quality of life and strengthen community cohesion for families in the area.
To help raise funds for the renovation of the new premises, IDC is encouraging children to take on meaningful challenges during the blessed month of Ramadan. Idris has chosen to set himself a big goal to keep all 30 fasts, inshaAllah, and complete a 10K walk whilst fasting. Through this, he hopes to build patience, resilience and gratitude, while also contributing to a project that will benefit so many people.
The Ramadan Kids Challenge empowers children to set their own achievable goals through good deeds and personal challenges. With the support and sponsorship of family and friends, they can turn small acts into lasting impact.
Idris would love your duas, encouragement and generous support as he takes on this journey for the sake of Allah and his community.
