Struggling my whole life with pain, I always knew there was something wrong. Being diagnosed with endometriosis 5 years ago, there wasn’t much support nor knowledge on the Illness and being an advocate for this led me to endometriosis UK who not only supported myself but so many other women. They push for the recognition of how serious this chronic illness is and allow us who suffer to come together so we don’t feel alone. This illness affects 1 in 10 making it the second highest gynaecological conditions with the top one being cervical cancer.

This illness is completely life changing causing severe chronic pain, infertility and many other health problems including mental health and having affected my life drastically with no way to cure it, I’ve decided to chose endometriosis UK as my charity to hopefully allow more research to be done in the hope that one day we can find a cure, gain better knowledge / understanding of endometriosis and give better support to those who are suffering.
